Iterpro has been acquired by International Sports Group (ISG), a leading financial holding company in the field of innovative sports technology.
The sports tech, founded in the UK in 2018 by Marco Savino and Piercarlo Serena and prototyped in Italy in 2017 within PoliHub where it embarked on its incubation journey, is a cutting-edge sports management platform designed to integrate data from every department of a sports organization into one centralized system. With advanced visualization, communication, and operational optimization capabilities, it supports sports organizations-professional and amateur-around the world in improving decision-making and overall performance.
This strategic move reinforces ISG’s mission: to build a comprehensive digital infrastructure that seamlessly connects all stakeholders involved in sports organizations.
ISG and Iterpro share a clear vision: to transform traditional sports management by consolidating data and streamlining operations into one unified system. Iterpro’s cutting-edge capabilities integrate seamlessly with ISG’s commitment to performance optimization, ensuring operational efficiency in every aspect of the sports organization.
In essence, this acquisition not only expands ISG’s technological expertise but also consolidates the strategic alignment between the two companies, paving the way for a future in which clubs, federations and leagues can achieve unprecedented levels of efficiency and performance.
Addressing data fragmentation in sports
Despite significant advances in sports technology, many organizations still face the problem of information fragmentation caused by disconnected systems between specialized departments. This mismatch undermines effective decision-making and generates inefficiencies. Iterpro directly addresses this challenge with an all-in-one platform that connects all stakeholders, centralizes data and transforms it into strategic insights to support informed decisions. The digital framework developed by Iterpro offers an integrated, data-driven solution that improves collaboration between departments and increases performance and operational efficiency at all levels, from clubs to federations to leagues.
A shared vision for smooth digital integration
“At ISG, we envision a future in which every sports organization thrives through seamless digital integration. With the entry of the Iterpro platform into the ISG ecosystem, we are empowering sports organizations to fully leverage the value of their data, enabling athletes, coaches and managers to achieve unprecedented levels of success “said Kenneth Berkleef, Founder of ISG.”This acquisition represents a key step in our journey to create a comprehensive solution to meet the needs of sports organizations worldwide. Iterpro’s innovative platform aligns perfectly with our vision based on data-driven decisions and operational excellence, strengthening our leadership in sports technology “.
Johan Henkes, chief commercial officer of Interstellar, added: “This acquisition is a game changer for the sports industry. Integrating Iterpro’s expertise and technology into our ecosystem not only enhances our platform, but redefines how data is used in sport. Our goal is to offer an intuitive, data-driven environment that maximizes efficiency and performance at every organizational level “.
Marco Savino, Founder and CEO of Iterpro, commented, “Closing this deal and joining ISG represents the most exciting milestone since the founding of Iterpro. I strongly believe that by joining forces, we will be able to accelerate our mission of providing sports operators with the tools to centralize and strategically leverage data. Our technology has the potential to revolutionize the sports industry, and with ISG’s resources, we can now take this vision to the next level. With their support, we are confident that we can scale globally and create new opportunities for sports professionals at every level “.
Global expansion and impact on industry
ISG’s strategic approach goes beyond sports performance solutions and embraces a long-term vision of market disruption and global growth. By acquiring and integrating leading technology companies such as Iterpro, ISG enhances its platform and expands its customer base in team and individual sports.
ISG currently operates in more than 20 countries and plans to work with more than 400 clubs by the end of 2025. The company is projected to become the global leader in sports technology. In addition to sports, ISG is planning to expand to adjacent sectors over the next five years, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness to market changes.
ISG recognizes the growing demand for technology solutions that can improve both organizational performance and fan engagement. This acquisition enables ISG to offer a robust, integrated ecosystem tailored to the needs of leagues, clubs, athletes and their communities.
New appointments at the helm of Interstellar
